Our commitment
Send A Fart (“Send A Fart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in every part of our service. We have a zero-tolerance policy: content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children is never allowed, and accounts involved in it are removed. We are committed to complying with applicable child-safety laws and to cooperating with law enforcement and child-protection organizations.
Who the app is for
Send A Fart is intended for users 13 and older. It is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove it. If you believe a child under 13 is using the app, contact us at support@sendafart.app.
What is prohibited
Across custom recordings, names, messages, shared links, and any other user-generated content, we prohibit:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
- Sexualization of minors, including in audio, text, imagery, or usernames.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to make sexual contact with a minor.
- Trafficking, endangerment, or other exploitation of children.
- Linking to, promoting, or facilitating access to any of the above.
How we prevent and respond
- In-app reporting and blocking. Every user can be reported and blocked directly from the app — from a friend or group member's options menu, and from any fart you receive. Blocking immediately stops all contact between the two accounts.
- Review and enforcement. Reports are reviewed by our team. When content or conduct violates these standards, we remove the content, and we suspend or permanently ban the accounts responsible.
- Account and data removal. Users can delete their account and content at any time from within the app, and we remove content that violates this policy.
- Ongoing improvement. We continue to strengthen our reporting, moderation, and detection practices as the app grows.
Reporting to authorities
When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we act to remove it and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as required by law, and we cooperate with law-enforcement requests. Anyone can also report suspected child exploitation directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org, or, if a child is in immediate danger, to local law enforcement.
How to report a concern
If you see content or behavior that may involve child safety, please report it right away:
- In the app: use the Report and Block options on the user or the fart.
- By email: contact our child-safety point of contact at support@sendafart.app with any details you can provide.
We aim to review child-safety reports promptly and to act on confirmed violations without delay.
